28th Jankidevi Bajaj Puraskar 2021 for Women Covid Warriors
The IMC Ladies’ Wing – Jankidevi Bajaj Puraskar recognizes, promotes, supports and honours women entrepreneurs working to improve living conditions in rural India. It seems natural that the award was named after Jankidevi Bajaj, for all her pioneering work in the area of rural development.
IMC-Ladies’ Wing, every year, felicitates and acknowledges the contribution of an Indian woman entrepreneur who has contributed in the field of rural business development. But in view of the unprecedented pandemic, the wing has decided to award the 28th IMC-Ladies’ Wing Jankidevi Bajaj Puraskar 2021 to an Indian woman who has worked towards the betterment of the people residing in rural India and 2-3 tier cities during the Covid- 19 pandemic as a COVID WARRIOR.
The Puraskar will recognize women who have surged beyond the ordinary with their selfless work during the nation’s fight against the pandemic. Putting their own lives at risk with selfless determination for the sake of saving others lives, they truly are our heroes in these challenging times.
The Puraskar comprises a cash award of Rs. 10 lakhs, a certificate and a citation.
The last date to submit nominations is extended till Friday, 29th October 2021.
