Rajiv Bajaj, MD of Bajaj Auto, has confirmed the launch of India’s first CNG motorcycle by June 2024. Targeted at the mass market and eco-conscious consumers, the bike will boast aggressive pricing. It may debut under a new brand name, hinting at future CNG models. However, due to the higher manufacturing costs and specialized tanks for both petrol and CNG, these motorcycles are expected to carry a premium over traditional petrol models.
