Bajaj Auto inaugurates manufacturing plant in Brazil, taking presence to 100 countries
Bajaj Auto has launched a new production facility in Manaus, Brazil, focusing initially on assembling and testing Dominar models. Spanning 9,600 square meters, the plant boasts engine and vehicle assembly capabilities with a production capacity of 20,000 units annually on a single shift. The facility, operational within a year of its construction start in June last year, marks a significant milestone for Bajaj Auto, expanding its global footprint to 100 countries. Future plans include broadening product lines, enhancing distribution networks, and integrating local suppliers to potentially double production capacity to 50,000 units yearly.
