Mukand Limited Joins Forces with Amplus Phoenix Energy for 23.89 MWp Group Captive Solar Project
Mukand Limited, a key member of the Bajaj Group and a leading manufacturer of Alloy and Stainless-Steel long products, has entered into a groundbreaking Power Delivery Agreement (PDA) with Amplus Phoenix Energy Pvt Limited (APEPL), a PETRONAS Group entity. This collaboration marks a significant stride towards advancing clean energy solutions and sustainability in the steel manufacturing industry. The agreement involves the development of a 23.89 MWp Group Captive Solar project in Hulkoti village, Gadag district, Karnataka, showcasing Mukand Limited’s dedication to environmental stewardship and energy efficiency. The solar project aims to generate 36 MUs annually, contributing to the reduction of approximately 28,440 tonnes of CO2 emissions per year.
